I was at another website this morning and saw this heading:

I looked over at my boyfriend and I said, “What! I guess we need to go to (name of discount chain omitted because I shamefully go there only because they are the cheapest, but I don’t want to give them any free advertising).” Then I started questioning this. I had September for sure in my mind and what kind of Lost fanatic forgets the release date of Season 2?

“Maybe it’s one of those pre-sales,” Scott said.

Of course it was. Silly how I question my Lost knowledge.

Moral of the story is that Lost Season Two will be out on DVD on September 5th just like I thought.  *Insert me crossing my arms in juvenile defiance*

Jack, Kate and Sawyer find themselves being held captive in prison cells that remind them of their lives off the island.  Creepy.  Insiders say this is very reminiscent of the television show “The Prisoner”.

It appears that Jack is performing the Heimlich on a child at the playground. The question on hand is why we are seeing Jack in a flashback when he doesn’t have a flashback episode scheduled to be filmed currently. Is he going to show up in someone else’s flashback?

There is also talk that Jack is leaving the show so he is filming his scenes now to fulfill his obligation. I hope the later is not true!

As a reminder, this is the book written by author Gary Troup. The novel is said to have been delivered to the publisher just days before he boarded Oceanic Flight 815.

I was thinking how cool it would be, and a great plot twist, if the new cast members were not Others. I would like to see them come into the story as tailies that had been taken by the Others but managed to escape. The viewers would be like “are they really survivors or are they Others?” They could hold the key to helping Sayid and the gang find Jack, Kate and Sawyer. If they escaped, they could lead the other survivors back to the Others hideout.

Purely speculation.

The producers said that two females and a male would be cast for Season 3 and now we know who the second female will be.  Actress Kiele Sanchez has been signed to the cast.  I don’t know her or any of her work, which might be really a plus so that there are no typecasts put on her for the show.

You can read more about her here.  Again, there are no confirmations as to how she will fit into the story.  We can assume she will be an Other, but it’s hard to assume we know anything before it airs!  The only nugget of information given is that her character’s name will be Nikki.
