Thanks, again, Jason for finding this promo. We can see lots of good stuff in this to come next week! It looks like they walk Kate right past Sawyer. It is going to be soooo good!

What could be more frigtening that that? (You’ll understand once you watch).

* I just keep finding these great promo videos! Enjoy! *

I missed this show!

Thursday, September 21st, 2006

While my brain was baking in the sun this summer the Lost writers were obviously busy creating their usual genius scripts. Below is an ABC *sneak peek* and contains a scene from Season 3. It is such typical Sawyer! I forgot how much I missed his character, he cracks me up. Just ignore the fact that Tom Bergeron is hosting the clip.

Secret of Lost’s numbers revealed

Tuesday, September 19th, 2006

Per the story below, the intent of Thomas Mittlewerk was to release this virus. So what if every person on flight 815 *was* infected with some type of virus? We are seeing that they all have cross over and maybe through those interactions the virus was passed along? Now the remaining Hanso people want to see the reaction of the virus.

Two secrets of the hit ABC TV show LOST have been revealed via THE LOST EXPERIENCE, an alternate reality game.

A video detailing elaborate back story has turned up on YouTube over here.

In short, the numbers represent the Valenzetti Equation: a mathematical formula having to do with the timetable for humanity’s extinction.

The show’s sinister Dharma Initiative seems to have been an effort by the mysterious Hanso Foundation to ward off that inevitability. When Dharma failed, Hanso’s nefarious acting leader, Thomas Mittelwerk, set in motion a plan to release a virus that would kill 30 percent of the world’s population.

The third season can’t get here quick enough.

Get up to speed…

* I know that this is everywhere, but in case you have been living under a rock (or stranded on an island, lol), here is the recap for the, er, recap episode coming up *

A NEW LOOK AT THE LIVES OF THE SURVIVORS OF OCEANIC FLIGHT 815 WILL BRING NEW VIEWERS UP TO DATE — AND BE A SOURCE OF ILLUMINATION FOR CURRENT VIEWERS — IN ANTICIPATION OF THE THIRD SEASON PREMIERE OF “LOST,” ON “LOST: A TALE OF SURVIVAL,” WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 ON ABC

Feeling lost? Having a hard time keeping up with what’s happening on the island? ABC has the remedy for what ails you by inviting both new and avid “Lost” viewers to take an insider’s look at the most talked about, critically acclaimed show on television. “Lost: A Tale of Survival” will explore the series in a way that will bring new viewers up to date, but which current viewers will also find illuminating. From the back stories of some of the most compelling characters on television to the mysteries of the island, “Lost: A Tale of Survival” will provide an insightful glimpse into the lives of the survivors of Oceanic Airlines flight 815, WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

After Oceanic Air flight 815 tore apart in mid-air and crashed on a Pacific island, its survivors were forced to find inner strength they never knew they had in order to survive. As they struggled to adapt, they also discovered that the island holds many secrets, including a mysterious smoke monster, polar bears, a strange French woman and another group of island residents known as “The Others.” The survivors have also found signs of those who came to the island before them, including a 19th century sailing ship called The Black Rock, the remains of an ancient statue and bunkers belonging to the Dharma Initiative, a group of scientific researchers.

Season One dealt with the fuselage survivors, the hatch and a failed attempt to get off the island. Season Two continued these stories and also introduced viewers to Desmond – the man responsible for inputting the numbers into the hatch computer system — the survivors of the tail section and Henry Gale, who turned out to be the leader of “The Others.” “Lost: A Tale of Survival” puts these two seasons together in a linear fashion to provide an illuminating view on a compelling story. See the sequence of events in the aftermath of the crash of flight 815, the failed raft attempt, the opening of the hatch, how the tail section and fuselage survivors lived separately and the unwitting intersections of their lives in one catastrophic moment, the implosion of the hatch and the capture of Jack, Kate and Sawyer by “The Others.” Discover how and why some of the survivors lost their lives and the effects of their deaths on their fellow castaways. In addition, the island itself will be explored – culled from events that have taken place – which may reveal even more of its secrets.

Spoiler or Foiler?

Friday, September 15th, 2006

Hm. So now Episode One is Jack-centric.  Turns out the producers and crew have been releasing foilers and we believe them because these are sources in the *know.*  So which information is real and which are imaginary?  Guess we will find out soon enough!

I will do my best to keep up with the latest on the information about upcoming episodes, but if it turns out to be a foiler, no nasty comments!  I’m just the messenger folks!

A-Team Parody (should it be the L-Team?)

Thanks to Jason for this video. See if you can guess who is who!

Could Be a Great Big “I Told You So”

Sunday, September 10th, 2006

I was speculating that it is too easy for the new characters to all be Others.  I think it would be very intriguing if one of them came around and said, “Hey, I’m a survivor!  Where have you guys been!?” Or if he has escaped the Others.  Anyway, with Henry setting the stage, the survivors would have a hard time believing anyone new.  Here is my original post.

Check out this quote from Rodrigo:

“They’ve told me that my role has nothing to do with the portuguese speaking characters, at the end of season 2 finale. But, for what I was told, I won’t be one of them. I’d be one of the survivors of the flight 815 that has been on the island all along. It will be a character with a story arc. They are thinking about making a character with brazilian origins, but I might speak english.”
