3 X 04 : Every Man For Himself

Saturday, October 28th, 2006

So I had half the post done and WordPress decided to kick me out. Nice! Save your work people!
On with the show…

Yes, I’m still stinging from the beating the writers gave me, the viewer, from this episode. If I wanted to watch fighting I’d turn to ESPN. If I wanted to watch the bad guy intimidate the good guy I’d go to work (you decide who’s who). I watch for the mystery of the show! You say, the mystery is in whether or not the pacemaker was real. *Insert me rolling eyes.* There was no mystery there. It was Them again torturing our Sawyer and I for one am raising my hand to be excused from this story line.

My boyfriend told me that maybe our expectations have become so high that there is no room for any error in this show. True, but it wasn’t necessarily the writing that I take issue with as much as the content.

I will still watch because I do want to see Sawyer’s redemption song (remember him singing this on the raft?)

1. Here is a little something to cheer you up. Follow this link. Warning: you will be earwormed for the day.

2. Bravo to Desmond for knowing when to walk away. Claire was a little freaked and the *new and improved* macho Charlie was fluffing his feathers when Desmond came to her about fixing her tent. For the record, Desmond appeared to know lightening was going to hit her tent and that is why he built the lightening rod. Seems like more people, especially Hurley, are starting to know that there’s something going on with Desmond.
lost_desmond_charlie_claire.jpg Click to enlarge

3. Jack is watching a cartoon about Swan’s. How appropriate. But why? Seems like the crafty Others didn’t plan for a purple sky explosion that wiped out their Comcast Cable. At this point, I think it’s fair to say that much of what they know about these Losties comes from internet research. Maybe I’ll be proven wrong, but info about Jack, Sawyer, and Kate would all be out there considering what we know about their histories. Now they are cut off. This could be what starts the cookie crumbling because they seem to be depending on technology as much as we do!
lost_jack_cartoons.jpg Click to enlarge

4. Bravo to Jack for the mind games with Juliet! This distinctly reminds me of when Ben (the hostage formerly known as Henry) was playing the *who’s in charge* game between Locke and Jack knowing full well there was already tension there. Jack is toying with Juliet by implying that Ben is in charge. I think that Jack has seen the tension and is playing on it. Finally, I can get behind Jack on this one!

5. OK, I missed this point but it is true. When Ben barges in and tells Juliet he needs help, he distinctly says, “The SUB is back, we have a situation.” I guess we know how the Others have been sneaking around now. It explains how they could have boarded the sailboat without Sayid and Jin seeing them. It explains how Steve/Scott was killed on the beach without being detected. I am wondering if they got the sub from someone in the past who has crashed on the island. They are scavengers. Now they have the sailboat, too. Desmond won’t be happy about that one.

6. The scene where Sawyer is scheming to shock one of The Others, Kate asks about Jack and Sawyer at first act slike he doesn’t care, then he indicates that they don’t even know if he is alive. I think that is part of why they march him past them. They want Kate and Sawyer (who indeed does have a conscience) to know that he is still very much around. Another way to keep them from escaping?

7. Funny. Sawyer calls Munson “Costanza.”
lost_munson.jpg lost_costanza.jpg Click either image to enlarge

8. Two days since the sky turned purple, they’re blind, the comms are down and they can’t get them back up, and Colleen is in critical condition. I agree with Sawer, “We happened.” The Other’s don’t even realize, I think, what has indeed happened. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

9. BTW, on top of being annoyed with the endless Sawyer torture, I’m also annoyed that there are more new Losties being introduced. I’m sure these two are fine actors, but come on! We don’t get enough screen time with the characters that we know (hello, where are Rose and Bernard?) but now we have to have new survivors? Could the writers have at least made their introduction more interesting? Make them have been lost since the crash, something! Them just running up and we are supposed to accept them is just not right. Now we have to share airtime and flashbacks with the noobs. I’m not liking it!

10. Cassidy and the mystery of Clementine. I don’t believe that there is a baby. Sawyer has been locked up for nine months so the timeline makes sense. However, Cassidy seemed to be as much of a sheister as Sawyer and I think she wants her revenge on him for conning her. She doesn’t need the money, this is about saving face.

11. Looked up the words to “Oh My Darling, Clementine” and they probably don’t have any significance, but still interesting (btw, I still wonder if there is mining going on here):

In a cavern, in a canyon,
Excavating for a mine
Dwelt a miner forty niner,
And his daughter Clementine.

Refrain:
Oh my darling, oh my darling,
Oh my darling, Clementine!
You were lost and gone forever
Dreadful sorry, Clementine.

Clementine goes on to drown in the song, too.

12. Didn’t Kate rob the bank in Albequerque? That is also where Sawyer sent the money for his “baby.” Will we see a connection later?

13. I’m also not convinced that the Other’s don’t know that there is periodic sound coming through the intercom that Jack keeps hearing. Conveniently, he keeps hearing the good stuff. Why isn’t the boring stuff crackling through? “Hey Ben, pass me the salt.” “Juliet, where did you put the gauze?” Stuff like that. I think Jack should be noticing this too.
lost_jack_speaker.jpg Click to enlarge

14. I can’t believe that I am siding with Sawyer on this, but I would not be sad if I saw one of the Others hurt and I thought that “my people” did it. Think about everything that they have done to Sawyer alone, let alone everyone else. Kidnapping kids, killing their mates, injecting who knows what and etc… yeah, they’re the good guys all right.

15. I watched back the scene where they are taking Jack to help Colleen and he distinctly pauses and turns towards Kate and Sawyer. He is facing forward (left of the screen) and his head turns to the right. You can see this by the line in the bag over his head. This will come into play during the great escape that must be coming. He heard them for sure.
lost_jack_covered_head.jpg Click to enlarge

16. Whose xray is this *really* going to be? Is it Ben? Is it Locke? Could it be someone we haven’t met yet? Obviously it was meant to be here for him to see - no coincidence there. I found two very significant things about this scene. For the first time Jack seems to realize that he is not just in this room, but on this island for a very specific reason. Secondly, if there is this amazing healing power here, why is this person still plagued with cancer in their spine?

lost_spinexray.jpg Click to enlarge

17. Did Jack really do everything he could to save Colleen? Juliet had her stabilized and then Jack starts working and she dies. Plus, I could not believe that Jack didn’t pause and demand something for himself or his friends in order to help her. My boyfriend thinks that perhaps the surgeon in him took over and the rationale of where he was, was forgotten.

18. There is more than one operating room wherever they took Jack. He walks to Area Op-4 but behind Ben we see Area Op-5. Why all the operating rooms? Also, notice the observation area above the Op room that Jack and Juliet are in. We know for sure there are fertility experiments happening. Is Sun unknowingly involved? Are they trying to breed super-humans (intelligence and immune to disease)? No crash cart? Do they kill people and not even try to save them if something goes wrong?
lost_op4.jpg lost_op5.jpg lost_operatingroom.jpg Click any image to enlarge

19. When Juliet brings Jack to the operating room Ben is upset and Juliet says he can help, he’s a doctor. Ben begins to say, “That is not why we …” and Juliet cuts him off. Not why what? They brought Jack here? Not why they are here? Not why he brought Colleen here?

20. How is it that Ben is always in front of the monitors just in time to see the important stuff? He is like the Wizard in Oz, isn’t he? This is way too convenient and not believable.
lost_sawyer_on_tv.jpg Click to enlarge

21. When the warden brings in Sawyer to get the information about the money, why does he ask him, “You remember Agent Freedman from the Treasury Department?” Why would Sawyer remember him? I assume other meetings, but was he also involved in the investigation into Sawyer’s con?

22. After exchanging info with the warden, wouldn’t Sawyer be wanted by some very powerful people? When it comes time, will he want to leave the island? What will be waiting for him back on land?

23. If there are two island’s why didn’t Danielle see it when she mapped the main island? Is is possible that they brought Sawyer to see the other island in the morning because of the tide? Maybe there is a land bridge connecting the two islands and depending on the tide it might not be visable in the morning. If they brought him in the evening he would see the connection. In the season opener Ben tells Goodwin and Ethan to go join the survivors and gives them a very short time frame to get there. If there were two islands how could they have done that so quickly? I still have some serious doubts about what Sawyer has been shown. Maybe there *is* another island but that these Others and the Losties are indeed only on the one island.
lost_ben_sawyer_islands.jpg  Click image to enlarge

24.  What does Ben mean a man gets sick if he lives alone?  Connection to “the sickness” that is always referred to?  Maybe it’s not a virus that they need to fear, but more of a physchological illness.  Goes along with these experiments we have been seeing.

25.  Who is the patched man next week?  Remember last season when Eko opened the trunk in their hatch they found a glass eye.  Is this the owner?

Beware of the shark

Wednesday, October 25th, 2006

I saw the shark a’swimming tonight. I thought it had been jumped, but the last few scenes and potential for next week’s episode saved this one.

I am so sick and tired of Sawyer getting beat up and Jack being stupid and naive that I could have turned the TV off tonight. Ugh, the frustration.

I am taking tonight to sleep on this one, will watch again tomorrow with fresh eyes then blog my thoughts from there.

Heroes connected to Lost?

Saturday, October 21st, 2006

Hands down, Heroes is the best show on TV next to Lost, of course. The theory in this article seems kind of silly, but it’s fun to speculate how the two shows could possibly be related. If you haven’t seen Heroes, I *highly* recommend that you check it out. It is on a different night than Lost so you won’t be missing the more important show, of course. Plus, it’s the most intelligent, thought provoking show (on network TV) I’ve seen for awhile (or at least since Lost debuted).

heroes.jpg

2. DOES NBC’S HEROES TAKE PLACE IN THE SAME WORLD AS ABC’S LOST?
(Too-Good-to-Be-True Conspiracy Theory of the Week!)

LAST WEEK Unranked

ANALYSIS Roughly 13 million-plus Americans have fallen hard for Heroes, television’s newest cult-pop sensation, and I am proud to say that I am one of them. My friends and family have applauded the expansion of my geek-TV interests; they were worried that Lost had begun to take over my life. Of course, Heroes isn’t much of a leap from Lost, considering how much they overlap: Both shows have a diverse, multicultural, interconnected cast; fixations with fate, coincidence and destiny; mysterious comic books; an inexplicable recurring motif (in Lost, it’s the Numbers; in Heroes, it’s a helix-shaped pattern); a mythology grounded in weird science and possibly sinister scientific experimentation; and even a potentially superpowered kid with estranged parents. Hmmmm…

In fact, after watching the most recent chapter in the unfolding Heroes saga, my conspiracy-theory senses began to tingle and twitch in that crazy Brad Pitt-in-12 Monkeys kinda way that makes my wife very, very nervous. Because it suddenly struck me that Heroes’ fantastical premise — that human beings are breaking out with superpowers as an evolutionary response to environmental changes (overpopulation, global warming, war) threatening the survival of the species — is conspicuously similar to the sci-fi conceit of Lost’s Hanso Foundation/Dharma Initiative mythology. And by ‘’conspicuously similar,'’ I am indeed suggesting that both shows occupy the same creative universe.

THEORY The mysterious island on Lost was a mad-scientist laboratory focused on accelerating human evolution that created the superpowered heroes on Heroes. (read more here…)

3 X 3: Further Instructions

Wednesday, October 18th, 2006

What a fabulous episode. Remember how great this show was in the beginning? Well, it hasn’t *lost* (ba-dum-pum) anything since then! Viewers take note! The Great White Hunter is back!

One concern for me - once I watched the previews for next week I almost don’t want to watch more Sawyer torture. I’m done with The Others, their over-the-top head games and again, can someone please write in some vengence for Sawyer? ABC - GET RID OF THIS STORY LINE!

On with the show…

1. Opening with the eye, of course. Scene was remiscent of the very first ever opening of the show with Jack out in the jungle.
locke_eye.jpg Click to enlarge

2. Ironically, the Jesus stick falls from the sky onto Locke. A bit contrived considering what transpired from there, don’t you think?

3. OK, so Locke & Co. have been gone for a whole day and Charlie never alerted anyone of what happened there at the hatch? Man, if you told me I would be heading out there not only to see if anyone was hurt but also to check out what was left. And were Desmond, Locke and Eko knocked out cold all that time? Makes me wonder if there were Others involved in this blackout period.

4. I loved that Locke went into his “sweat lodge” for a little wacky paste and a magic carpet ride. I just wonder when the journey really ended because I’m not so sure that Eko was really talking to Locke about saving Jack.
locke_boone_wheelchair.jpg Click to enlarge

5. Ironically Locke needed to speak to the island but he couldn’t talk.

6. I was glad that Charlie was so reluctant to help Locke. The writers gave us, the loyal-obsessed fans, credit for remembering Fire & Water. They haven’t been friends since then and I wouldn’t blame Charlie. Why would you help someone who set you up and then beat you in the head repeatedly. Gee, I wonder why Charlie would hesitate. But Charlie *always* seems to be in the thick of things, doesn’t he?

7. There were so many funny lines in the episode tonight. I especially enjoyed Charlie’s little jabs at Locke like, “Oh yeah, I’ll stand guard in case you devolve into a monkey.”

8. In the airport scene I found it especially entertaining that Desmond was walking around with all the airline stewardesses. Probably true to life, well, the fictional lives of these characters.
desmond_stewardess.jpg Click to enlarge

9. Since Locke was handing out apologies tonight, why didn’t he apologize to Charlie? He *did* hlep him but he also was wrong about Charlie as much as he was wrong losing faith in Eko. Will he continue to use and toss Charlie away?

10. What was the animal that chased Locke out of his tent? Polar bear? Spirit guide?
locke_animal.jpg Click to enlarge

11. Locke says that “They’ve got him,” meaning Eko. But the bear had Eko. Is he referring to Eko at this point?

12. What other bad things happen to people that hang out with Locke? Did we really see anything bad happen tonight beside the fact that he was duped by the cop back home? Boone died, I guess that is bad, but seems mostly bad things are on the island and he was the one getting the short end of the Jesus stick back home.

13. Jeronimo Jackson T-shirt. Cute.

14. I can see why Locke keeps losing his faith. First his mother tricks him into reconnecting with this dad, who in turn tricks him into major surgery and organ donation. Now we see that Eddie destroys the new family that Locke has found. How sad his life is!

15. Hatch imploded. Cool effect!
hatch_imploded.jpg Click to enlarge

16. Hurley almost bit it tonight thanks to Locke. “Dude.”
hurley_dude.jpg Click to enlarge

17. Locke’s driver’s license vs. firearm paperwork. No conspiracy theory, just discrepancy. Birthdate on license 5-30-56 but on paperwork 11-15-46. Expires 5-11-02 which gives us a time frame until the plane crash (and obviously his handicap) and we know he is still in California. Maybe the cop *did* notice the difference but also recognized Eddie as a cop but didn’t want to mess up his operation. I’m going with this over prop error.
locke_driver_license.jpg Click to enlarge

18. Is it just me or does the commune that Locke lives in eerily resemble The Others commune here on the island? Will it be Locke that chooses to stay with them for that *family* feeling? Or does he have too much of a bond, or so he thinks, to the Losties? But the cop thought the farm was bad and they were just peaceful. Are we supposed to think now that maybe the Others are’t so bad either.

19. Polar bears are the “Einsteins of the bear world” huh? Funny stuff. What else does he know that might help them?

20. Eddie says that everyone at the commune wants a daddy. Goes along with the daddy issue of the show we have had so far. Interesting.

21. Charlie used Locke’s line tonight, “You don’t get to tell me what to do.”

22. So has Locke stumbled across some type of burial ground when he finds Eko? What is with the dump truck? And the dharma garb? No symbol in the middle so how old might these bones be?
locke_dumptruck.jpg locke_bones.jpg Click either image to enlarge

23. Does he or doesn’t he? I don’t think he does. I think that the Great White Hunter is too soft to kill this guy who he considers his friend and then leaves the commune in shame.
locke_gun.jpg Click to enlarge

24. Why didn’t Desmond implode and how can he tell the future now? Will he turn into the Hulk as Hurley predicted? And why did they make him into the Caucasion version of Jesus? Seriously, is there some time warp thingy going on that Desmond is wrapped up in? Where did his clothes go and why wasn’t anyone else naked?

25. I wasn’t crazy how they brought in the two new characters. They just wander on up and now we are supposed to accept them? Maybe in small bits, guys? Plus, don’t we have a few other story lines to contend with now instead of adding more? Doh!
lost_newcharacter1.jpg lost_newcharacter2.jpg

26. Dude, nice legs! ha!
desmond.jpg Click to enlarge

27. Eddie was headed to the town of Eureka. Check out this link and read about the SciFi Channel’s show of the same name. Ironic, isn’t it? Too many similarities to not be something there. A secret town that no one will ever find. The Others town could potentially be a community of the best scientists and thinkers? Interesting.

28. The Jesus stick now reads, “Lift up your eyes and look North.” Remember that Michael headed North to find Walt. Also, Desmond told Jack, regarding Sarah’s surgery, that he needed to lift her up.

locke_stick.jpg Click to enlarge

29. Eddie gave the cop that pulled over Locke in the beginning a knowing look (when I watch it back now). Was he angry at almost getting busted right in the beginning? And what was up with the torrential downpour followed by an instant burst of sun? Just like the island.

29. In the airport sequence, why are Hurley and Benry the only two who work for the airline? Possibly Desmond, too, but I think he’s just wearing a suit, not a pilot’s uniform. I don’t want Hurley to be duping them somehow so I hope this is just a production choice, but no Others appear in this scene that we know of.

Further Instructions Previews

Monday, October 16th, 2006

Canada gets way different previews than we do here in The States.

Now watch it slowed down so you can see what is being flashed by (compliments of the YouTube universe where you can pretty much find anything)…

Here is what I have been seeing for this week. The monster is coming! The monster is coming!

Espanol (looks like Kate sees Jack walk by in this one):

Espanol (2) - Guess we see how Boone is going to play into this episode. I expected it to be Sayid that saved Jack, Sawyer and Kate. This looks way better, though!

** I didn’t want to look for anymore because I feel like I’m seeing alot of the episode here and I only want a taste of what is to come. Plus, this will probably take forever to load on your computer as it is. Enjoy and Namaste! **

3 X 2 : The Glass Ballerina

Wednesday, October 11th, 2006

Finally! Sawyer got some action, but not the kind you were thinking. They have been building up to Sawyer getting his revenge and tonight was just a peek of what’s to come. I don’t want to see a shootout at the “Others” Corral, I want to see Sawyer get down and dirty with his revenge. Maybe Sayid will find them on the “long walk” he is referring to and will help Sawyer and Kate escape. Hm, this is proving so far to be a very exciting season! I can’t wait until next week! AND, Eko gets pulled underground by the monster… ugh! I can’t stand the wait!

1. Falling glass ballerina. I think this had two purposes. One was to show us Sun is so not above lying. She even knew the maid would get fired for what she did and she looked right in her dad’s face and lied. More on this to come I’m sure. Second, the fallen ballerina symbol. First she was innocent and then fell and broke, just like the statue. Sayid knew she was lying about why she was on the boat. I wonder why.
lm_lost1.jpg Click to enlarge

2. Sayid “was” circumnavigating the island using Danielle’s map. Does Danielle know where the Other’s camp is? She knows that the monster is a security system; maybe he should ask her what it’s for. Would Sayid have found the camp had they kept going? I can’t believe they outsmarted him when they came from the water. Back in season one they came from the water when the killed Steve/Scott, has he forgotten in 69 days? But he does tell them they have a long walk ahead, I think he is going to keep looking for Jack and co. What does he have to lose now that Shannon is dead?

3. I am still undecided which way Juliet is going to go. She seems so cold yet has a hold on Ben. He seemed actually jealous that she made soup for Jack (No soup for Ben!). My initial reaction is that Jack intrigues her because of whatever they know about him and what they want from him. But the fact that she could kill Kate without flinching shows that she has a very different side. However, if Jack stays with the others, like I suspect he will, there could be some silly little love affair they are going to develop with Juliet and Jack. (*gag, cough*)

4. Jack appears to be giving up his will to fight. More to come on this later. But the way he just sits in the corner…. is his story line about over now that he has made peace with the Sara story? I want to see him at least reunite with the Losties!

5. Ben was genuinely surprised that the Losties *had* a sailboat. He seems to be the know-it-all voyeur on the island, how could Desmond have had this boat all this time and he didn’t know it? Kelvin was restoring it even. Guess maybe that is the sign to viewers that Ben can’t know everything.
lm_lost3.jpg Click to enlarge

6. Again, Colleen comes up to the cages so quickly after supposedly being “underground” where Jack is being held. Makes me think that they just have him in some type of aquarium, not underwater.

7. Sun is not looking well. Now that the magnetic pull is gone (from the hatch) are we going to start seeing the medical miracles fail? Will her miracle pregnancy miscarry? Will Rose get sick again? Will Locke lose his ability to walk (of course not fellow skeptics because his was all psychological). But she could have the *sickness.*
lm_lost4.jpg Click to enlarge

8. OK, did Sun or didn’t she with Mr. Teacherherenglish (Lee)? I gasped at first because I didn’t want to believe that she did it, or him. Then she said she couldn’t and when he stood up he had pants on. So ha! She didn’t! Doesn’t mean she doesn’t with someone else right before she gets on the plane, but not with Lee!

9. Have you seen the movie or read the book Holes? These writers are definitely readers. In the book, these juvenile delinquent boys are brought to the middle of the desert to dig holes as punishment for whatever crime they committed. The idea is the break their spirit. I think that is exactly what is going on here. I don’t think that any of the people in the background were doing any real work, they were just props put there by the Others to appear as if there was a chain gang. But the Others want to see these two break, much like they did to Jack. Lucky for us Sawyer is so much stronger and smarter than that. I only wish he would realize there is a DAMN CAMERA watching them. OF COURSE THERE IS! But, in the book there is actually buried treasure the boys are digging for, they just don’t know it. I have said before there might be some “gold in them there hills” (maybe not gold, but it fits the phrase) and that there is mining going on here.

But what were The Others looking at under the tent? Was it blueprints? Plans for what? More houses, airstrip, a hatch perhaps?

10. So does Jin really know that Mr. Lee was trying to hook up with Sun or is he just taking his frustration at Mr. Pak out on him? I knew he wouldn’t kill the guy, didn’t he have a similar issue in an earlier episode when the guy in the white suit showed up to finish the job? Someone obviously threw Mr. Lee off the balcony and purposely onto Jin’s car.

11. Sayid says they’ve only been sailing for one day when they find the dock where Jack and co. were taken. So it can’t be that far from the camp. Why hasn’t anyone ventured out after 69 days to try and find this kind of thing? Fear my friends. Fear of the unknown, of the Others. The scary, dirty savage costumes the Others wear. The plan worked.
lm_lost5.jpg Click to enlarge

12. Alex asks Kate about Karl. Will Kate at some point have more conversation with her and somehow bring up Danielle? Kate knows that her daughter was taken and my guess would be that there aren’t very many female Alex’s that you will run into on this island!

13. Sun wanted Jin to run away from her father together and start a new life. Guess she got her wish. Why would she want to even go back - oh yeah, outside of the Others that kill people now and again.

14. Jin understands English better than Sun thinks, huh? Does he know about the Cluckety Cluck? Did he understand Hurley telling him that his wife was hot? What else does he know?

15. I don’t like soap operas and definitely DO NOT want to see this show lean towards daytime crapola, but I really enjoyed the scene where Sawyer just drops what he’s doing and kisses Kate and she doesn’t seem to mind. Sure, he had motives outside the kiss but come on! That was passion! My boyfriend says he dumps the water as if to say, ” I don’t need your water, I need her!”
lm_lost6.jpg Click to enlarge

16. Sun had a red shirt on when she was on the boat. I thought for sure she would die but I guess she hasn’t changed yet!

17. Jin yelling for the sailboat was heart wrenching, just like when Michael was calling for Walt. But overall this week he seemed like he was going back to his old jerky ways (grabbing Sun, yelling at her to obey him. Ick!)

18. New nickname for Kate: Shortcake. She tastes like strawberries. He tastes like fish biscuits so should his nickname be SeaBass?

19. I’m going to have to get into my screen caps for this one, but Ben is watching 6 screens. Looks like two views of Jack, one on Sawyer, one on Kate and maybe two on the entrance to whatever hatch they are in?
lm_lost7.jpg Click to enlarge

20. Benjamin Linus (?) and has been on island his whole life? Need to check this out more… must be some significance in that name.

21. Why would they send Jack home if he cooperates? Is there a home to send Jack to? What does he even have to go back to? His career, maybe. His wife and dad are gone and perhaps his reputation over the Sara/lover witch hunt that he was on last week. Will Jack want to go home or will he think that whatever is going on here is good in the name of science? Will he fall in love with Juliet (*gag, cough*)?

22. Gets me thinking we are seeing a theme here this week… did they or didn’t they infidelity. Sara and ??, Sun and Mr. Lee. Who will it be next week because it’s Locke’s flashback!

23. Reflection of Red Sox on Jack. You could just feel his pain and desire to be home. How much would you miss your life if you were here? Plus Jack’s dad told him some line about the Red Sox never winning the world series. Ironic for Jack.
lm_lost8.jpg

24. I think that the writers were talking to us (viewers) again this week through a Jack/Ben dialog. Jack wants to know where Kate and Sawyer are and Ben gives them a short answer and says that is all he can tell him. Jack says he can tell him anything he wants and Ben responds that he can but that is all he wants to tell him right now. Then he tells Jack that he needs patience. Hmm, seems like a message to me!

25. Next week looks SO GOOD! Locke running from the monster! Eko getting taken underground! Desmond with no underpants!
lm_lost9.jpg Click to enlarge

26. Oh crap, they took the sailboat! Maybe now Desmond will be p-od too at The Others.

27. I’m still questioning if the *whispers* in the jungle were coming from this group of Others. Seems like they are into observing but I haven’t seen much more that that….yet!

Lost goes “South”

I can’t confirm if this is real or a joke, but according to TV Squad, a parody of Lost will be made *South Park* style. Even if it’s not going to happen, check out the sketches below. My favorites are Ana-L and Zeke.
