What Super Bowl?

On the local news this morning there was story about a bottling company that is giving Monday off to it’s employees (along with a case of beer, of course) because of the Super Bowl hangover.  Someone I work with told me yesterday that his elementary school student has a two hour delay Monday so the parents can sleep in.

In talking about this, Scott made a good point.  Sports fans can be as fanatical as they want to be and no one questions them.  Why can’t television show fans be just as obsessed without fear of persecution?

Back at work today we were discussing these Monday delays and someone asked my boss if we could come in at 9 on Monday and she agreed.  Of course then I had to pipe up with my dilemma in my Lost obession and how I should be able to come in on Thursday at 9 because of the Lost premiere especially since I don’t even like football.  She said OK.

That was too easy.

I think I’ll go paint a big “L” on my chest and scream “Go Losties!” in front of a stadium somewhere on Tuesday.  Then again, maybe not, it’s too cold here.
