Series 2 Figurines

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

They have been delayed several times, but the release date that I have found is July 2007.

Here is my complaint: Two girls in bikini’s (first Shannon, now Sun). Come on! Then why does Saywer have his shirt on? Fair is fair!

OK, so he got to shoot Mr. Friendly and kill his nemesis. But Sawyer seems to get his butt kicked by everyone.

I like to peruse Ebay now and then to see what sorts of Lost items are out there.

Lost “Hip Hop” Belt Buckle. Opening bid $3.99. Yes, they called it “Hip Hop.” I love Lost, but what do I know about Hip Hop? Here’s what I could find at good old Wikipedia:

graffiti.jpg Graffiti

breakdancing.jpg Hurley could arrange a breakdance competition, it’s not golf but it’s distracting!

grill.jpg A grill for Ben?

All in all, I’m not feeling Hip Hop associated with this show.

Evil Kinevel lost his foot. Opening bid $4.95. I can’t explain this one. It was in my “Lost Action Figure” search.

Black Smoke – Revealed!

Have you seen Spiderman 3?  (On a side note, if you liked the first 2, skip this one.  Too much going on for one movie)

Anyway, here is the Sandman:

More On *That* Article

Monday, June 4th, 2007

I thought I had a pretty good screencap (see below) but there are other’s that are much clearer. The speculation is that someone named *John Latham* or *Jeremy Bentham* – ironically, another famous philosopher- is the name of the deceased in this article. These are both names of characters that we haven’t met yet. Click on the names for links to Wikipedia and some very interesting information that could lead to even more interesting theories.

Thanks to Daniel for leaving this in the comment section. This is *supposed* to be the full transcript.  It is too good not to post here:

The body of John Lantham of New York was found shortly after 4 am in the 4300 block of Grand Avenue. Ted Worden, a doorman at the Tower Lofts complex, heard loud noises coming from the victim’s loft. Concerned for tenants’ safety, he entered the loft and found the body hanging from a beam in the living room. According to Jaime Ortiz, a police spokesman, the incident was deemed a suicide after medical tests. Latham is survived by one teenaged son. Memorial services will be held at the Hoffs-Drawlar Funeral Home tomorrow evening. (thanks to the tailsection)
