I hate that they cut out the videos… If I find them later I’ll post. And a big surprise guest at the end.

Faraday will be on the show!? Yes! And I love the dig on Ken and Barbie (aka Nikki and whats his name).

Comic Con Panel Part One

Tuesday, July 28th, 2009

I just watched this and my two initial questions are:
1. Who haven’t we seen since Season One? (besides Boone)
2. Season Six like Season One (I suspect a “Dark Tower”-like ending)

Mr Clucky’s New Owner?

Monday, July 27th, 2009

Is that kid supposed to look like Walt (because he sure does)? and the announcer has an Australian accent. Hm, a clue to Hurley’s future home? Or an alternate universe (again, back to the Dark Tower references)? And is Dave standing at the counter right at the beginning?

Kate on AMW

Um, didn’t we see Kate kill her dad? Whoever wrote this may have made a little mistake…

Lost Stuff

Sunday, July 26th, 2009

It’s that time of the summer.  Nothing much to write about so I snooped around Ebay to see what kinds of interesting Lost stuff is for sale out there.

Jumpsuit with choice of patch.  I love this one!  You can pick which station you want to be from.  Oh the choices!  I want one!

Really?

Friday, July 24th, 2009

A Bolivian TV channel received an email following the crash of Air France flight 447 stating that there were images from the last moments of the flight taken by a actor that was on board the flight.  Check out this video.  Do the images look familiar?

Really?  No one at the station thought these looked familiar?  No one noticed that the shots were from the day and the crash was at night?  No one was suspicious? On one hand … bravo to Lost for making a show so believable that it’s reported as real. On the other hand… it really makes me nervous that television stations aren’t doing a little more research before airing “news.”

Lost Untangled Really Sucks

Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

Sorry to whoever writes and produces them, but wow, they really suck.  It’s like somebody really, really wants to be cool by using something kind of nerdy (ie; the talking dolls) but it just doesn’t work.  Not to mention the fact that it is obviously meant for people who are too lazy to watch every season and try to make sense of it on their own and just gives all of the subtleties some of us work so hard to figure out.  Like the pop ups in the re-run right before the new episode.

I was going to post an example here but I decided that if you really want to watch one you will need to go fish it out of the sespool yourself.  But, if you are the kind of person to do your own research then you are probably not the kind of person that will enjoy them anyway.  I’m just sayin’…..

Rant complete.

Who Was Lost First?

Monday, July 20th, 2009

So there’s this guy who says he wrote the pilot script for Lost back in the 70’s and pitched it multiple times only to be rejected.  You can link to the writer’s list of similarities here and there are many.  But I’m not convinced that he didn’t have the original idea of the plane crash and the characters which Damon and Carlton were then presented by ABC and they ran with it.  This writer dude couldn’t have possibly fleshed out the idea as much as Darlton.  It’s like handing someone a ball of yarn and some needles and telling them to knit a hat.  Yes, it was your idea and tools to make the hat, but the knitter has to do all the work.  Thoughts?
