#4... looking at the statue you could make a case that it had long hair and a skirt. Perhaps a female? Perhaps a female Lostie? I like that concept GG.

Or... in another direction, what if the statue turns out to be our unaging Richard Alpert? Not sure about the toe thing. Anyone ever seen Richard's feet? ;-)

I'd my money down that Farrady does something in the Orchid and "messes things up". He probably tries to turn the wheel or something.

I wonder how things are going to go between Jack and Sawyer. Sawyer has been the leader of the Losties for 3 years now. It's kind of funny too, Sawyer, who used to be a con-man is now the head of security for the DI. But obviously, he's good at it since they made him their chief security guy. They must be in that time for a specific reason, one of those may have been to ensure Amy and her baby survived. I'm pretty sure the Losties somehow will cause "the incident" as well - it'll probably be Dan since we did see him in an earlier show sneaking around.

Gitsie Girl,
I am so with you on the baby being Jack. That's of course if the baby is relevant. But i said that i thought it is Jack on the other entry. I totally think it fita because it sure seems like Christian knows the island and that he may possibly have been there before. Maybe he somehow got the baby and took him off the island and raised him as his own. Maybe his death was his way of getting Jack back to the island. You know like Locke's death was to get the O6 back. Maybe the island needed Jack back so Christian died.

Gary, wouldn't that be creepy to see the face of one of the main characters on the statue? Gives me the heebie-jeebies just thinking about it. Plus they'd have to explain the four toes thing for sure.

To the people in 1974-77 living on the island, Sawyer and Juliette and Miles and Jin and Daniel must be a weird case, obviously. I mean, those people have to simply go on their word that that group came on a salvage vessel looking for the Black Rock. Of course that's a lie. It reminds me of the Others, especially Ben, not really telling much truth about why they were there or where they came from.

I have this feeling that if we ever do see the front side of that statue, that it's going to have one of the faces of the Losties on it.

I'm kind of for Amy's baby being Sawyer. Look at his reaction when he pulls the hood off of her - he recognizes her. Maybe she leaves the island and gets remarried. Sawyer's reaction to seeing her is the same as when Dan is staring at Ellie. It could also be why Sawyer wanted so much to help Amy out when she was giving birth.

If you've noticed, most of the Losties seem to die once they've resolved their issues. Boone and Shannon died once they finally decided to free themselves from each other and live their own lives. Mr. Ecko died after changing his life from being a smuggler and all around bad guy and decided to devote his life to God. Charlie freed him self from his addiction and soon after he died.

I do think all of the Losties have gifts. Some we know of and others we can guess at. Here's some examples. Jack fixed his ex-wife's back. An impossible surgery. But Jack doesn't believe in miracles. I think just for that instant when he told his ex that he'd fix her, he let go for a moment. We can guess that Walt is special by what the Others said of him, the things that happen when Walt is arround and his appearing places he's not supposed to be. Locke of course has some connection with the island. The dead seem to come and talk with Hurley.

It makes sense that Horace would know about the Black Rock. Remember it was Hanso who was selling the log book that Widmore purchased. I first thought that the Hanso Foundation was having financial problems and that's why they were selling the book. But I now wonder if maybe they wanted to get that book to Mr. Widmore, but they wanted to do so in a way that wasn't obvious.

I do agree that Sawyer talking with Richard may be what spurred Richard into seeking out Locke again. Locke would be around 15 - 16 in 1974.

The only thing I can think about Rose, Bernard and Vincent is that they ended up in another time period, like Locke and Ben are in the present (at least I'm guessing it's the present) while Jack and the rest ended up in 1977.
