Holding My Breath
Another new character is coming to the show next week. Of course, those of us on the Ken & Barbie Must Die campaign all cringed at the same time. But, per the quote below, we won’t be subjected to her sudden and unexplained appearance in the middle of the beach. Way to go ABC. Maybe you got a clue.

Question: Any juicy information on Lost?— Mary
Ausiello: The juiciest! A new female character will be introduced later this season, and get this: According to exec producer Carlton Cuse, “She does not appear in a flashback, she is not an Other, and she is not one of the survivors of Flight 815.” What does that leave? You tell me! BREAKING NEWS! The role’s just been cast. Head on over to the Ausiello Report to find out which Las Vegas star won the part!

For the record, the actress is Marsha Thomason. It’s scary that TV Guide calls her the “Las Vegas Babe.” *groan* Where are Rose and Bernard when you need them?

I’m probably not the first to see or post this, but I’m almost sure Juliet was putting on a gas mask with the Others as Kate watched on last week. Blonde hair, light blue shirt, had to be her…

Sorry. I screencapped this (and every) episode and it was *not* her.

I miss R&B!
Useless comment, I know… but…

Not useless AND I’ve read they will be coming back soon. I wonder how they will explain that?

Bad news….. Check out IMDB.com. Why is Kiele Sanchez / Nikki Fernandez aka Barbie listed as part of the cast of characters in the next for episodes? Lets hope she is only in the flashbacks!!

Sorry typo that should have read: ….. in the next four (4) episodes?

Maybe it’s part of their contract that although they don’t appear in the epi, they still have to get credit.

I’m still sticking by my story (she held her breath)!
no, I’m betting on the flashback to the storm that caught Kate and Juliet - we’ll see it at the graveyard. Nikki, oops, sorry, Barbie will pop up sputtering and spitting out sand - the writers are convinced they can win everyone over.
sorry GG! Hope I’m wrong for your sake.
as to new character - suppose she’s Rose - if the island can heal, can it not be the fountain of youth as well.
oh well, 3 hours and 49 minutes and counting (east coastie).
nice chatting with you all.

hi
okay, 6 minutes into tonight’s show and it occurs to me.
so much of the discussions we’ve had here in GG’s house have dealt with where the show doesn’t follow the story line we’re invested in.
hell, in my little world Jack and Kate get together. after 6 minutes tonight I just feel like turning the TV off
(but like all the rest of you who have made this journey for the last 3 years, I won’t!)

As much as I understand wanting to turn it off, it’s like the crappy book that you read for awhile, realize is stinks but you just have to keep reading because now your invested. I think tonight was good and we’ve had some good epi’s this year (see, I do more than criticize) and we know for sure we at least have one more season. I would like to think that the “powers that be” at ABC have learned some lessons from this year (insert me biting my tongue- no - restraining my fingers from typing about you-know-who) and will go with what we love next year, rather than the T&A, dumbed down version of the island. It’s not Lost 90210, right?

You’re the best!

Yeah but the filler eps got to go. I mean, you would think with them no replaying the eps anymore, and having that big break…they could come up with nothing but substance week after week.
At least they are not as bad the Sopranos..that show, drops story lines and never picks them up. With Lost, you just have to have a very good memory…they eventually pick them up.
