Good guess Heather, but Tunisia was a land mass for tens of millions of years before there were polar bears.

We must keep Daniel! I actually like all four of the new ones and can for sure see the pilot turning into a good guy who saves them in the end.

Foffman: thanks! Keep leaving comments too. Loving them all. Love to hear everyone's thoughts outside of the ones in my head. Need to get the screencap in Grandma's house.

Heather: Yes, building on the time theme. They have alluded to it a lot over the past 3 years. I love that idea. But I don't remember the bears we have seen wearing collars. Thoughts? You are thinking the boat people travel back in time? How would you weave it together based on what we have learned to date?

OK, so... I am LOVING Daniel. Total keeper, as you noted. I also think Miles is an interesting character, and agree that the dustbuster was just for effect.

Regarding the Dharma polar bear found in Tunisia -- I'm pretty sure that what it means is that the island is existing in the past, as a land mass that will eventually become present-day Tunisia. Oh, the implications!

My first thought when I saw the plane at the beginning was that it was a different plane. We obviously know that it's not the plane that crashed on the island. So if it was another plane, wouldn't a different unsolved plane crash (besides 815) be a big deal too? I mean they wouldn't be able to assume it was 815 without identifying it. Unless the crashed plane we saw underwater tonight was staged. But that would be really weird...

I like Daniel too. That guy is cool. And you make a good point. It was odd that he noticed that the light was "different."

I thought the pictures in grandma's house looked a lot like young Eko.

I'm looking forward to reading about more of your thoughts. I love this blog!
