Initial Thoughts: The End
I’m still crying as I type this. Crying because our friend (the show) has died. Crying because Jack laying down to die then Vincent shows up to “guide” him if you will. Crying because this show is amazing and had an even more amazing end.
I need to start with the bigger question. I think that they are alive on the island. I think that the side time line was showing us where they were headed as they died. They were all waiting for each other. That is why we don’t have to feel bad for Sun and Jin because they ended up together. They all ended up together. Live together, die alone… maybe but they ended up together. Des was there to bring them together so they could cross as one.
I hope you will forgive me but I need to sit with this for tonight. Every time I type something another thought comes up. Seems just like the show that one question leads to another but one thought leads to another…. This Christmas gift deserves thought and gratitude.
I’m off work tomorrow so I will be up first thing to get going on my recap.

Loved loved loved this last epi. I’m not at all disapointed! although I’m stlll really confused. I can’t wait for your thoughts. one thing that i’m really confused about is during the flash sideways, after Locks surgery, he told Jack that he didn’t have a son. Did anyone catch this? Any thoughts as to what he was refering to?

Hey all, haven’t been on here all this last season because I’ve been buying a new home – what a paperwork nightmare!!! So sad it’s all over… now we’ll all have to get lives again…lol. From what Jack’s dad said at the end, it seems that the alternate reality was something they created so the people who died had someplace to wait until the rest of them showed up. I thought it was great that ultimately, Hurley took over Jacob’s place – I really think he was the best choice… it was funny that Ben took over as his “number 2″ and I take it Richard’s position. Christian just stayed long enough to bring Jack into the group and then he left, since he never really was a part of the island – he had his own group to go to I take it. I’m also glad that in the end, Ben did turn out to be a good guy, pushing Hurley out of the way of that tree, Ben really was toyed with for years by Jacob and the MIB. I am really REALLY going to miss this show and everyone here who I’ve come to know over the seasons. Thank you GG for giving us a place to rant, rave and love this awesome TV series.

Oh, by the way, anyone here ever see the animated movie, “Wizards?” When I found out that Jacob and Smokey were brothers, I kind of thought of that movie. “Here’s something mother showed me and didn’t tell you!” BANG!!! LOL!!! But glad they show didn’t end that way!
