Now there is also in Catholic belief in a thing called a remnant....- A small group of people saved by the Lord-.....maybe a connection there with the people on the Island.....also another connection that can be made in religious views is the whole " the sickness" talk. Now back in the time of Moses there was the thing about the plagues- pestilence being one of them....a sickness that effects all living creatures that gives them boils and sores the eventually kills them....another plague is the death of the first born....maybe something to do with the children being taken.....now this last point has nothing to do with reliigous views but it is something i noticed from last season- In the hatch where Eko and the people from his part of the plane were first staying there was a glass eyeball in the hatch..maybe it belongs to the man that locke saw on the TV monitor in the hatch under the plane Eko's brother crashed in.
