]]> by: Scott http://www.gitsiegirl.com/lost-for-48-days.htm#comment-8 Mon, 21 Nov 2005 00:29:00 +0000 http://www.gitsiegirl.com/lost-for-48-days.htm#comment-8 i think it's kinda hot how obsessed you are... :-) (i can say that because i'm the obsessed one's boyfriend!) lessee... 1) i'm going to go for the timeline labeling being there for us to parallel the two groups and put things together like bernard talking to boone on the radio. 4) true... you'd think chickens would end up all over the place if they'd been on the island for a while. remember in the training video they talked about experiements with animals and they showed polar bears as the example! i think "they" brought them to the island. 6) yeah, where'd the banana come from? i've never seen the fronties eating bananas... just mango looking fruits and stuff. 8) i wonder if the box was like somebody's personal footlocker. who uses footlockers a lot? military. hmm... 11) i read that someone said the gun she used for the warning shot was a different gun. ??? 15) i'm wondering if the "electromagnetic" whatever it is keeps certain "others" away from that part of the island. maybe the electrial-whatever has - way out sci-fi theory - trapped people in a sort of nether dimension. remember the phantom zone from the superman comics (and it appeared in the movies so some of you might know it). 16) ok, hadn't read that. that's cool. 17) luck of the draw. remember the pilot in the nose section ended up *way* into the jungle. luggage and jack's dad's coffin also ended up at different places. 18) montezuma's revenge? ;-) seriously, i think it was odd that anna didn't tell *anyone* what happened. even eko after they were seemingly getting along better. eko pointing out to jin "that was goodwin, he was a good man" or something like that. weird. 18b) i don't think nathan was an other. goodwin could have just let him go into the jungle at that point instead of killing him. plus there was the comment about him not being good. brain hurting. looking forward to wednesday! i think it’s kinda hot how obsessed you are… :-) (i can say that because i’m the obsessed one’s boyfriend!)

I think to save continual flashbacks, mini-reruns within the show, why not expedite the process and get us through quickly... 2) Remember that Danielle tells us they will have three choices: run, hide, or stay and fight. If the groups breaks into three groups; each will need someone trained in medicine - expecially if there really is a 'sickness'. Just a possibility - what do I know! 3) Havent noticed - yikes 4) I believe that they brought all sorts of animals to the island. Remember that whats-his-face was eating an egg in the hatch... we needed a chicken to explain the egg... 5)? 6)I thought he told Ana that he gave the banana to Nathan? Which, by the way, we never figured out the Nathan/Ethan name connection. Also, do we know for sure that Nathan was not an 'other'? Isnt there a web sight with the passanger list somewhere on-line? 7)Every entrance to 'the world' or the 'light at the end of the tunnels" all say the same thing. Only difference was that this one was not bolted down (or burried) like the other. Why remind the persons inside of this? Are there other doors that lead to places that are not 'in the world'? Lets not forget the foreshadowing of the necular spill that Jack and Syed contemplated... Maybe the doors are metal to prevent the radiation from getting in? 8) Maybe the military were sent to get these people out? Maybe they were there to dig out this whole project? 9)Help me - who is Marvin Crandle? This was one of the first episodes without an eye opening. Which remindes me of the scene with Syed and Shannon where it is framed to look like a view of an eye looking at them... 10)too many to comment on them all but: I believe that there are more than one tunnel with people inside. Some are pushing buttons, some are growing stuff, someone is taking care of something that is generating energy to all of these 'hatches'. Somewhere the water connection is going to come back into play... and what about Michael? Is he dead? Is he under water? Is the water what produces the energy?
