ABC is kicking around ideas of what to do with the Lost franchise after May.  Frankly I’m concerned that the idea with become “watered down” with any kind of spin off (insert shiver here) or movies.  This article in Variety makes a good point that Star Trek has done well after the original series but without Darlton I’m pretty skeptical.

This gets me thinking about what to do with this website once Lost is off of the air.  If ABC can make a go of keeping Lost alive and it’s worthy of the original series I could keep up with that.  But I’ve also considered just letting the site die in honor of how great the show and the run has been.  I’ve also considered doing my own “spin off” of the site and keeping it themed to television, movies or scifi media.  Then there is the idea that I could totally switch gears and just go with a new idea and theme all together.

I’ve very much enjoyed the past five years here and for everyone that also writes their thoughts.  So any input in keeping our own little community together will be considered and appreciated.  Or, if you have a site and you”d take a moderator or guest writer I’m up for that too!
