I'm a little late to the game here, but just today I was driving by the Hawaii Film Studio and noticed what looked like Hurley's car, which I Googled in order to verify (hence finding your site).

I also spotted a FedEx/UPS-style delivery truck with the Oceanic Airlines logo on it. Do you know what that might be from?

[...] If you’re a fan of LOST (and of course you are) you probably noticed that actor Lance Reddick who plays LOST’s Matthew Abaddon (aptly, I think, dubbed “Creepy Eyed Man” in point 12 of her post on LOST fansite GitsieGirl.com) is playing Fringe character Homeland Security Agent Phillip Broyles.
I had three major questions with the Charlie and Hurley seen in this episode: How did the other guy see Charlie if he is dead? If he's dead, how does he hit Hurley, and if he somehow is alive and off the island why does he tell Hurley that he's dead?

This is kind of a crazy thought, but I'm not convinced that Charlie is dead yet. If Charlie gets off the island and for some reason he uses a different name now, that would answer all three of my questions about this scene.
1. This would easily explain how the other guy sees Charlie.
2. Again, this would easily explain how he is able to smack Hurley.
3. When Charlie says "I am dead, but I'm also here," this could mean that everybody is under the impression that Charlie Pace is dead, but he actually survived, got off the island, and is using a different name now that he is back. I know this is a reach, but I just never liked the way that they "killed off" Charlie, I don't know why, but it just didn't seem right. And on this island, I really believe that anything is possible.

Did anyone also notice that on the mural that it has the number 108 written twice and then on the guy it has the number 42 on his shirt (in mural)

And the guy in the rocking chair is so Christian Shepherd, it totally looks like him. Great Job again Gitsie Girl for a great bog spot

A friend pointed this out to me, a 13 yr. old daughter found this:

John Locke, an English philosopher (1632-1704), based much of his philosophy on "faith". He also believed in "Tabula Rasa", Latin for Empty Slate, which is the title of the third episode of the 1st season.

David Hume, from Scotland (1711-1776), philosopher (notice the similar name to Desmond Hume from Scotland), beliefs of impressions and ideas being two types of perceptions. Impressions, as in flashes to the future.

There is brief mention in the book of a philosopher by the name of Russo.

Season Three, Last episode: titled Through the Looking Glass, which means, in philosophy mirrored perception. In that episode, Jack sees himself as he knew his father...a washed out drunk...mirrored perception. In the book Sophie's World, the character Sophie, is talking to Pooh Bear about finding another character Hilde. Pooh suggests finding Hilde "through the Looking Glass"...potentially in a parallel universe.

The similarites in the book and Lost are uncanny.

Ben Linus: Check out the picture of the explosion in this post and think about Locke right before the explosion - why was he wet? He probably tricked the Others into thinking he blew it up but really it took the sub down, swam up, set off the explosions fooling everyone into thinking it was gone.

MSB: I am the great all-seeing Gitsie Girl! BWA HA HA! Jk. If you check out the "flash" subject of the next couple of epis you can guess who is going back. Plus there are rumors swirling.

FOFFER: Claire and Jack are 1/2 sibs and they don't know. Isn't is possible Naomi was the *good* daughter of Widmore that followed her daddy's wishes and Penny played more of the bad girl?

As far as your comments, I try not to read people's comments too much before I make my *big* post so I'm not influenced. But there are so many good thoughts out there which is part of what makes me love, love, love this show. All the different theories.

DELA: Hm, good point. Maybe it's how Hurley thinks he would look back on land.
