I missed that they were rescued after 108 days, but I should have suspected that anyhow. That magic number…lol. The button had to be pushed every 108 minutes… the numbers themselves add up to 108 and I’m sure there’ll be more.

I picked up Season 4 and I got to see the shows I missed and realized something. Dan Faraday has a problem maintaining long term memories. That’s why he acts so nutty and unsure when he’s answering people. If you ever seen the movie “Memento” he’s kind of like that guy, but he doesn’t lose them completely like the guy in that movie. I think they’re just kind of scrambled. It’s why Dan writes down everything important in his notebook. Here’s why I say this. There’s a clip that starts out with Charlotte says, “Time!” Then Dan tries to remember what 3 cards she has turned over on a stump and Dan can only get 2 of the 3 correct. I take it She shows them to him earlier, then waits a bit, that’s when she says time. Also there’s the episode, “The Constant” where Desmond ask Dan, if I met you in the past, wouldn’t you remember it?” and Dan answers, “Not necessarily.” Then at the end of the show, Dan looks through his notbook and finds where it says, “Desmond will be my constant.” So I’m assuming Dan experimented on himself and that’s why he’s so screwed up. Probably why he was freaking out when he saw the news report showing Flight 815 on the bottom of the ocean. Anyhow, I’d love to hear any comments.
