By the way, I wonder who is living in Ben's house with the secret rooms withing secret rooms, hidden safes and it own underground passageway? Not to mention that the secret room within the secret room has something in it that can summon old smokey. Here's something to wonder about - Sawyer is now chief of security for the DI. Danielle once described old smokey as a security system for protecting the island. Is there a connection there? Ben called old smokey to get Keamy from his house at Otherville, but it used to belong to the DI. Sawyer saw Ben enter that room and then old smokey shows up, so he knows it's there and what it's for. Just a thought.

It wouldn't be so uncommon a way to off someone. If you remember, Christain forgot his wallet, so he didn't have any cash on him and I doubt if Sawyer stayed around long enough to get him enough drinks to kill him. It has been known for someone to murder someone by forcing drinks down their thoats. It also fits suicide as well since Christian was feeling sorry for himself. Maybe just like Locke, he was told he would have to die.

Well yeah, suicide or not, they weren't sure exactly what happened, which leaves it open to possibility that Ben or Jacob or someone else had something to do with it.

Hey Foffman: Christain died from drinking too much. Remember he was with Sawyer at some small dive of a bar where Anna Lucia dropped him off. If I remember correctly, the police found his body in some alley.

I can't quite remember how Christian died when he was in Australia. Was it a situation where they assumed that it was a suicide? If I'm wrong about that, then forgive this next idea, but... Maybe Ben killed Christian just like he killed Locke, because he knew Christian's body had to be on flight 815 to "create the necessary circumstances" (i.e., having the right people, or even shoes) for the plane to crash on the island.

See that's kind of what i was trying to say. But i'm standing by my theory of the baby being Jack. If it's Sawyer then you can tell me i told you so. I know that baby has to be important in some way other than just proving that women could have babies at one time on the island.

ashleyb: If Amy's son is Jack, that would mean that Jack isn't really Christain's son and Claire wouldn't be his sister. I kind of think her son is Sawyer - Sawyer kind of gave her this look when he pulled the hood off of her. You can never tell with this show, there's always surprises.

You know, in 1974 - 1977, Widmore should still be on the island. It was sometime around 1992 or so that the Purge occurs - I say this because Sayid met Kelvin (the guy who dragged Desmond into the Swan station) and Kate's dad during Desert Storm which happened in 1991. Also, Horace tells Locke when he meets him chopping down that tree that he's been dead for 12 years. I'm assuming it was after the Purge that Ben displaced Widmore as the leader of the Others. Ben seemed to be around 25 when the Purge took place (only guessing), he looked around 10 when he came to the island with his father which would mean he should be showing up soon (1977 or so). I'm guessing that's why they're going to be doing these upcoming Ben shows. Hopefully they'll answer the questions of what happened to Annie. I'd also like to learn more about what Richard's role in all this is. Why he never ages. Is he one of the dead or something else? Charlie gave Hurley this strange answer when Hurley said, "You're dead, dude!" Charlie answered, "I am dead, but I'm also here." The other question is, why can only some people see the dead dudes? But Locke seems unique because everyone can see him. If Richard is dead, he too is unique since everyone can see him. Locke can also interact with people, he took that mango and ate it as if nothing had happened to him. We also saw Christian holding Aaron when he came and got Claire. Is there a difference between the dead who reinhabit their bodies and those who don't? Is that why the others burn their dead in that kind of Norse funeral service they invited Jack to watch? But then they don't burn everyone, the DI guys they just dumped in a pit and Ben left his dad's body in the van. Or does the island only allow certain people to come back? Maybe the ones that are needed and still have unfinished work to do. Who knows?

Oh GaryG-
I've been secretly thinking that for a while. I'm glad you seaid something because i couldn't seem to make any sense of it personally.

I also commented, if you remember, that ithink the baby born to Amy is Jack. I will kick myslef twice over if it's not. But i have a huge feeling that it is. I mean come on Christian died and got everybody the island and then he came back to life. Maybe he's been there before and that's why he was abe to come back to life. Because nobody who died in the original crash came back to life when they crashed. Although i know Christian was already dead. But do you see where i'm going. Locke did the same thing. He died and Jack went back. Locke came back to life.

It's a mystery.

Hey Brian, thanks, I forgot about that, but you're right. See, I always thought Jack would end up as the leader of the Others, taking Ben's place. But from everything Ben and the Others have said, Jacob is the real and top leader, not Ben. Another thing to support this is when Jack got that tattoo from that Asian woman. She said he was a leader, and basically, he resented it. His tattoo reads something like, "He walks among us, but he isn't one of us." That's pretty deep and who knows what it actually means. But I think things are going to change for Jack now that he's back on the island. He found out Claire was his sister. Locke told him his father is alive and well on the island and he's seen his father on the island and a few times back in the real world. You can't ignore mircles forever - like he did when the island disappeared right before his eyes.
