Hmm… Maybe one’s photoshopped and the girl in it is a wee bit stalker nuts. Or maybe you’re right and the powers that be just changed the photo – like maybe they changed actresses for that role somewhere after the first picture was taken and used in the show.

I still think that there is a connection to the woman trying to adopt Claire’s baby (i.e. the woman in the original picture). Dessy must just take all his girlfriend’s to that spot while he’s wearing a red parka. Or he was standing there and each woman asks to have her picture taken with him. Like he was getting ready to set sail and Penny and the woman (his sister perhaps) were there and they just took pictures. It would have been the last time they would have seen him so it makes sense that they would frame the picture.
Lots ‘o possibilities.

Gitsie Girl…
Your theory is interesting…but I think you did not realized that actually they are not in the same place when the picture was taken.
The view behind them is totally different one from another…
The one with the white clothes women, there are some buildings…and the one with Pam….there are not….
See ya….

Amilton: It looks like the same background but they are just positioned a bit differently. Maybe sisters? They were bidding him farewell before the race?

Then why are you online instead of out finding these things?
January 30th, 2007 at 8:31 am
Yeah. Or thinking up cute ways to spell your name. You’re probably standing outside in the cold wee hours of the morning right now at a pre superbowl football game rally, eh? Said with much “caringness” of course.

sorry guys, but I’m with the kid who can’t spell anonymous. it’s not that browsers are out looking for the same inconsistencies you are. some of us are just out here perusing (I was trying to find a cool picture of sayid in grindhouse) and can’t help but encounter the mind blowing obsessions of the bored. i’m a huge fan of lost and i suggest you check out the writer’s comments on people like you. i believe ‘losers’ is an actual quote. but i’m sure you will prove me wrong. the initial popularity of the show was in jeopardy because someone had complained that the polar bear attack in earlier episodes was performed by a big stuffed animal. my suggestion is to enjoy the show as it is made by its actual creators and to get some fresh air, people.

nicky… you spend your time looking for pics of sayid in grindhouse. bully for you, we’re not giving you a hard time. the writers of this show created a vehicle for people to obsess. look at what they actively promoted last summer in what they call “the lost experience” online out of the realm of the television media. if you look around this board especially you won’t see much mention of that and what you do see is probably negative. we’re fans of the show. the writers wet dream over obsessive fan bases. you act like the fan base is a bunch of 15 year olds. check out the demographics sometime. also get your facts straight with the reasons the writers/producers were annoyed with internet comments on the polar bear. folks had pre-production shots and were commenting on the as-yet-unseen show based on these shots. they didn’t know the show was going to be a hit and were a little worried about the negative press. so far as the “losers” comment, quote it and quote it in context – i don’t think you’ll find it. the show is enjoyable (well, mostly) and enjoyable to talk about. i think you’ll find everyone around here have full lives. we enjoy a little cerebral interaction about something we enjoy. do you get as much from your pics of sayid in grindhouse? interesting that with your opinions you took the (waste of) time to stop, obviously read a bit, and then comment here. i think gg would agree – feel welcome to participate, but if it’s not your thing, then just move on dude. it’s a free country, but we’re also free to tell you not to be a prick.

What season was the original pic from? Oh well, I forgive them! Re-watching some old eps… funny that S3 finale and S4 finale both included Sawyer/Juliet get togethers in some way – traveling back to beach together, then drinking rum and watching the freighter explode. Hmmmm…
