Thoughts
1. Hm. Flash forwards. I mentioned this a long time ago. Check it out here . I mentioned it several times over the course of this blog, but this link is the first time I put the theory out there. Yes, I’m gloating.
2. Naomi was the snake in the mailbox or the guys coming will be the snakes? I’m wondering if they work for Daddy Widmore and they suspect Desmond is there. But…. Penny knows now that Dessy is there.
3. HATED the Charlie death. HORRIBLE scene. Heartbreaking. I don’t care if we knew it was coming, it was terrible to see him drown like that. I loved his character and HATED to see him die. Did I mention I hated him dying?
4. Now we need to go back and decide what was a flash forward and what was a flash back. Jack is a junkie. Who died? Was it Michael? *If* he comes back (wink, wink) what must he do on the island to make Kate dislike him so much? We assume when she says she has to get back to *him* that she means Sawyer, but it could be anyone. Awesome twist.
5. Yeah, American Idol running 10 minutes over 10:00? Gee, I wonder why they would do that during the Lost 2 hour season finale. Jerks.
6. Yeah Hurley! Here we thought he was going to go back and eat and talk to Dave but he is the hero now.
7. Maybe Desmond is flashing forward to Jack and sees what happens to him. Maybe he stops the rescue. Plus he knows it’s not Penny’s ship. But will anyone believe him if he stops the rescue? How in the heck will he explain why?
8. Bernard is a dentist, not Rambo. Man, why have they been suppressing these two? Come on everybody, you have to admit they are better than the you-know-whos.
9. So they are building a runway huh? Makes me suspicious of Ben and this boat off shore.
10. Alex and Danielle. Will be interested to see where they take this storyline. Maybe we’ll finally get our Danielle flashback.
11. Sawyer is one bad-a now isn’t he? Kill a guy and then he has no remorse over killing other guys. He’s just getting his redemption all over the place! And Sayid with the neck breaking move! Then there was Jin missing the dynamite. Um….
12. And what about the amazing healing Mikhail? Come on!
13. What was up with Locke just walking away from Jack? He kills a total stranger over the phone and then just shrugs his shoulder when Jack says “no” and leaves? Huh?
14. Michael Emerson (Ben) said that once we see the *real* bad guys we were going to wish that Ben was the worst that we had seen. I wonder who’s coming from that boat!
15. Walt. Guess Mr. Rodgers was right. He looked older so is it really him? We didn’t get to see very much of that.
16. Yeah, Jack kicked butt tonight. He wasn’t taking anything from anyone. It’s about time! But of course now we know Ben was telling the truth and maybe this once he should have listened and backed off.
17. Hey, someone might want to remind Kate that she’s a fugitive. She looked awfully happy to get rescued.
18. Going to have to watch this one again. More to come later….

Am I crazy?
While watching the final 5 minutes, I got the weirdest sense of De ja vu. Either like I watched something very similar to that scene, or I read a fan fic that had a very similar event. Especially the line about “he’ll wonder where I am.” But the weird part was even what they were wearing was familiar. Omg I feel nuts. Like I dreampt it before hand. -head bangs- AH.
Ok enough of the crazy… I really must be.
So from now on are they off the island and it follows their lives? Do we get island flash backs now? Lol. Or some of the flashes are just forwards.
What confuses me most is we’re given that they were rescued, but Jack tells the Chief of Surgery to get his father down here. So… uhm… what happened to dead Christian? o_O
And as depressing as it was, it made sense. There was little to get rescued for in Jack’s case. And he became an alcoholic and a pill popper. Heh. I always wondered what might happen if they got rescued. So many of the people on the island had bad family situations.
Evie looked so damn hot! But I missed her curls… Gotta love the curls.
Charlie’s death… yes, heart wrenching. I kept saying no! over and over again and my dad (who only sees the show once and a while was all confused) kept looking at me like I was crazy.
I really liked Tom… Kinda wishing Sawyer hadn’t shot him.
The fake beard on Jack made me feel a little ill, heh.
So, what, we have to wait how many months now? Was it 9? or 6? -thuds-
May 24th, 2007 at 12:19 am
Totally with you on the “Christian” thingy with flash-forward Jack and his dad… he had a prescription from him and he told the new chief of surgery that he was upstairs. What’s up with all that?
Charlie’s death… Okay, so they turned off the jamming, so what did it matter that Charlie stayed in the room, closed the door, and drowned? He dove *down* the station, why couldn’t he dive back into the moon pool and swim back out and UP??? It’s not like the rest of the station would have flooded instantly. Also, Mikhail insinuated earlier that flooding the station in and of itself could have knocked out the jamming. The girls said no, that the wires and everything were waterproof. Mikhail then asked why Ben would need them there then? Sooooo… why the heck would have blown up the room and flooded it? Couldn’t he have feasibly gone back into the Looking Glass and turn the jamming back on again??? Couldn’t Charlie have held his breath and then gone out the hole that Mikhail blew?
Tom and the other gruff man on the beach… Tom was talking to him after they supposedly shot Sayid, Jin, and Bernard. Tom was saying that Ben was out of control and then he said that maybe they should NOT have fired three bullets into the sand - that they SHOULD have actually shot the prisoners. But the whole conversation doesn’t make sense. It would mean that Tom thinks Ben is crazy and they SHOULD have shot the prisoners even though Ben was the one on the phone saying TO shoot them. So perhaps Ben and the other gruff guy (who’s name I don’t remember) had it worked out to where “kill them” didn’t really mean kill them. And Tom hearing that Jack was going to kill him might have been just a bit freaked out and thinking that maybe they really SHOULD have shot the prisoners? Dunno… this whole scene just doesn’t make sense to me right now.
Who the heck is in the coffin? Agree… perhaps Michael somehow.
Also… now time for the WAY OUT theory. I’ve given up that everything is explainable. So, how about Jack is Jacob? Scruffy future Jack is the Jacob that we see in the cabin. Why couldn’t Locke shoot Jack? Because if he shot Jack BEFORE Jack got to be Jacob, then there wouldn’t be a Jacob.
Is Jacob the one appearing to people? i.e., To Jack as Jack’s dad. To Hurley as Dave. To Locke as Walt? If so… He tried to get Jack to fall off a cliff. He tried to get Hurley to jump off a cliff. As Walt he tries to get Walt to stop the rescue? These all seem like bad things. Whassup?
Tired now. Grr… too long a wait to see what’s going to happen.
Awaiting more from GG. Sure there’s some good posting coming.
May 24th, 2007 at 12:46 am
Okay, first I want to agree with your idea of Jacob being Jack and yada.. yada. yada. I also want to say BEST EPISODE THIS SEASON! I don’t think Charlie is dead. But then again who knows with this show. The flash forward… are they going to pull a Dallas and say Jack was dreaming (JK)? At first I thought, the coffin.. maybe the Marshall and that is why Kate didn’t want to go and that was why Jack was crying because that is when if first started. Then again maybe Michael. I was originally thinking after I saw the flashback that mabye there were a couple that were flash forwards like the one when Hurley and Libby are in the mental institution together but then Libby dies. So who knows. Anyway I had all these thoughts on it and it would last a novels worth of pages to complete so talk to you in 5 months.. 7.. 2… 9 who knows.
May 24th, 2007 at 1:45 am
Anybody else notice Mr. Eko when Jack pulls up in front of the funeral home?
Also the song Jack is listening to in the truck is by a guy called Perrynoid. Brian K. Vaughn a new writer for the show is a friend of the radio show Ron and Fez for whom Perrynoid writes and plays a lot of songs. I’m a big fan of Ron and Fez as well as Vaughn’s writing, so cool to hear Perry on Lost.
Keep up the good work Gitsie.
May 24th, 2007 at 1:51 am
Yup. I noticed the Christian Sheppard thing as well. Doesn’t make sense.
Also, the individual episode, the season, and the first half of the entire show end in the future with Jack saying that they need to go back. I am more curious than anything to find out how the writers are going to make a happy ending out of that, because after seeing that final scene, you absolutely don’t want them to get rescued anymore.
May 24th, 2007 at 2:00 am
Dang I wasn’t finished when I accidentally clicked submit.
WALT! WOOHOO!
Sayid’s still alive! WOOHOO!
Charlie…………is dead. He couldn’t fit through that hole. Plus (correct me if I’m wrong) the writers said one main character will die in the season finale, right? If not Charlie, who? Obviously not Naomi. Not the two girls in the looking glass. Tom? I honestly hope that that is who they were talking about and that somehow Charlie made a miraculous escape, but it sure looks doubtful. Tom was a semi-main character. But no, I’m thinking it was Charlie.
Couple more scenes.
Very beginning. Sun asks Jin why he’s staying back. And he replies, in English, “because we have to go home.” I absolutely loved that. Awesome line. After Sawyer told Hurley he didn’t want him coming with them, I was worried about Hurley. I was hoping he wouldn’t go off and commit suicide or something. Then he comes back and saves them. “I saved ‘em all!” Yet another awesome line. Juliet’s a good guy. (or girl). she looked relieved when Sawyer shot Tom. haha, I just noticed……….Tom Sawyer………….k that was stupid.
WOW! I NEED TO BE DONE NOW! CAN’T WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON!
May 24th, 2007 at 2:01 am
One of the best episodes ever! Charlie’s scene was genius. Mathew Fox got a chance to really act his ass off and the questions and intrigue, once again, pile up brilliantly! I believe Jack was being sarcastic about his Father being upstairs. I believe the flash forwards will add to the already incredible writing. Lost is truly a fascinating journey.
May 24th, 2007 at 5:49 am
just some thoughts…
The “Christian Sheppard” could just have been trying to scam for his addiction.
Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t someone of relative importance say that we’re getting two more sixteen episode seasons to bring things to a close?
Based on that (and ONLY on that) we need to address some of flash-forward Jack stuff.
the funeral director asks “Friend or family” and I’m not trying to stir up any “racial issues” but family mostly leaves out certain characters.
but…
if Jack is having this much regret over getting everyone rescued, perhaps it might be Ben, who (in this weird flash-forward thing) was right all along.
that would certainly explain why no one came.
ok, Kate and the “he’ll be wondering”
if it isn’t James, then who, someone we’ve not met? hmmm, I have my doubts.
Hugo perhaps but his mother, Cheech Marin(sp?) etc.
an small argument might be made for Desmond, we really don’t know how long after being rescued this is all supposedly happening.
Desmond might bring along Penny though. If she spent so long searching for him (allegedly) then it follows whathaveyou that she might be in attendance. (even if forbidden by her father *shrugs*)
the comment about “drunk” and “father upstairs”
he’s on drugs
he’s on powerful oxy-contin
the chief of surgery doesn’t directly address the comment really (I’ll watch again for confirmation)
what Jack in a drug induced state MIGHT mean is that if he’s as dead like his old man, then fire him
he’s not drunk, he’s stoned on stolen oxys
*again a healthy shrug*
so….where was in the “who’s in the casket” deal
oh, ok… Ben, arguably, Desmond, arguably and Locke, arguably. Perhaps with Locke’s actions during the rescue, he became some self-imposed perriah(sp?)
I keep thinking of the church and how simple the architecture was and then Jack saying he flies across the Pacific every weekend praying to go down so he can get back to the island.
how tragic…
if He was in Australia or New Zealand (he seemed to be looking confused about the address)
maybe a church in the great “down under”
points to Desmond, Ben or Locke
but what do I know?
well written and well done it is (’it’ being the show “Lost”)
if the writers and produces of the show play this straight, or mostly so from here on out, it could possibly make it one of the greatest television stories ever shown.
~~think about it~~
oh, and they killed Charlie
men don’t cry so I guess I played the boy tonight
anyway, take care all and personally speaking, if the island would have cured me of say my type one diabetes… I would have thought living like that would be the greatest.
Locke not shooting Jack… yeah, that one didn’t make sense. In the leg would have accomplished the task without killing him.
hmmm
oh yeah, I was posting this and going to read
later days all
May 24th, 2007 at 9:23 am
I think Sawyer is in the coffin (I don’t want it to be Sawyer for I love him soooooooo much.) The fact that Jack was sure that Kate would be at the service suggest that it be a person close to Kate. As well, Jack and Sawyer are not family and they are not friends, hence his comment. Plus Sawyer does not have any friends out in the real world, so it makes since that no one might come to his funeral. I hope I am wrong, he is my favorite character and at the end of the show I want him to live a long and happy life, but I really think it is him.
May 24th, 2007 at 9:47 am
Its so Ben in the coffin, and if not him it could only mean Locke or Sawyer.
I dont know about anyone else but aftter the show had ended i got into a weird depressing mood like i had been on the island and was rescued but wanting the same thing as Jack and to go back.
May 24th, 2007 at 9:58 am
So I’m not the only one who thinks Jack is Jacob!!! That’s validating. LOL.
So now I’m going to venture and say that it’s Jack in the casket.
I missed where Jacob tried to get Jack to fall and Hurley to jump off a cliff. Would this have something to do with Jack standing on the rail of the bridge when the lady had her wreck?
I’m beginining to think this is all a time-warp mumbo jumbo that *some* people control, and others are controlled *by*. >>
Incidentally, does anyone remember on the (I think) season 2 DVD in the interview with the writers, they said that originally they had planned to kill Jack off in the early episodes of season 1? I think maybe they’ve decided to somehow make him play a bigger part in all this. Maybe because everyone loved Jack so much early on.
May 24th, 2007 at 10:07 am
Whoever was in the coffin, his (or her) death was so important to Jack that he wanted to go kill himself. Remember that’s the reason he was on the bridge. My vote goes to Ben.
Sticking with my idea that the writers said a main character would die………what if?………………..what if that main character is whoever is in that coffin, (which would mean Charlie is not that main character) and by some miracle, Desmond knocks open the door and saves Charlie. Ha, I know, I’m probably building false hope. But oh well.
May 24th, 2007 at 10:13 am
Ya, in the original pilot, Jack was going to be killed by the monster, not the pilot. Test audiences really liked Jack, so they rewrote him into the main character that we know and love.
I too loved the finale and didn’t breathe for the whole two hours. Great episode!!! And I am so antzy until February!!!
I think it was Micheal in the casket…he’s not friend or family member to either Jack or Kate, and it would make sense that Kate hates him after he was responsible for Ana Lucia and Libby’s death. Maybe Micheal also kills Sawyer, and that’s why Kate’s so mad. Anybody wonder if the “he” that Kate has to get back to is maybe her son…maybe she ends up pregnant after all….just ideas…
And I’m still trying to figure out what in the world is going to go wrong with their rescue that Jack ends up so depressed? I think Christian is dead, and Jack forged the prescription and was just wasted and running his mouth when he referred to him as being upstairs…who knows…
And why is Kate so mean to Jack? I thought they would stay good friends after all that…I mean, Jack told her he loved her!?!
Can’t wait for next season!
May 24th, 2007 at 11:17 am
Indeed a great season finale. I believe what you were seeing at the end of the show is an actual season 6 preview of things to come, and how although very sinister Ben shows the Island newbies the truth about the Island.By the time a recue comes they all will have second thoughts about leaving!
May 24th, 2007 at 11:20 am
I was so confused by the whole flash forward thing, i mean i was just in shock. and it’s sad that jack turns in2 a druggie alcoholic and is so unstable. I do think he was being sarcastic about the calling his dad from upstairs, and i think he forged his dad’s signature, used his name on the prescription. that makes sense. i didnt really stop and think about why locke didnt shoot jack, just figured it was his whole weak thing, not having it in him to kill, but yea he did have no probs killing naomi. and he really made me wish his island loving self stayed in the ditch and died at first, bcuz i felt like he is always ruining the escape plans, why doesnt he just let them get rescued and he can stay there if he wants?! that was my thought. oh, and i was going insane trying 2 figure out who died and was in that casket! When he pulled up in that ghetto neighborhood (i can say that cuz i live in the ghetto, lol) i was pretty sure it couldnt be any1 i thought it was. sorry ppl but i dont think it was ben or locke, that was an african american funeral, and typically, they have blk clients. but i still wouldnt rule out sawyer. but then i think that’s who kate had 2 get home to. and we have to consider how upset jack was, who the heck would make him so upset if they died? i mean he was having a break down
May 24th, 2007 at 11:37 am
jack still sees his dad like he did on the island, but he wants to return to resolve issues with him, jacob may be bens dad thatts why he did not want locke to hear him, p.s. , you cant get refills on oxycodone, each prescription must be hand written.
May 24th, 2007 at 1:59 pm
first of all, i think that the person in the coffin was either ben or lock. why the heck would it be michael? second, when jack sais his father is upstairs maybe he means he is dead but then he probably be a little lower.
May 24th, 2007 at 2:41 pm
Foffman is TOTALLY right!! Charlie doesnt need to die, and im glad Syid isnt dead! and what is the deal with Walt?????? are Walt and his dad coming back to the show?!?!!!! so many questions, so little time! Charlie seriously HAS to come back!! does everyone agree with me?? if he doesnt, im going to be REALLY mad!! speaking of mad, Sawyer has to be just ticked off with “The Others” since he just shot Tom without thinking……UAHH, im just so upset charlie died!! the writer HAVE to bring him back, i maen it wouldnt be hard b/c NOBODY REALLY DIES!,….eye-patch guys keeps coming back, and Lock!!!
May 24th, 2007 at 2:42 pm
OHHHH, are Claire and Jack ever going to know that they share a father!!!!!!!!! i mean comon!
May 24th, 2007 at 3:18 pm
Best Ep ever and the first thing I read is bragging about past predictions of future flashes??? Come on. I’m done. Let’s give the show the credit, sit back and enjoy! Anyways, gonna be a long lost off-season!!! Great show, just great.
May 24th, 2007 at 3:29 pm
“R” : The show does get the credit. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with bragging rights. It’s kind of nice when you get something right well before the show does it. I think she deserves to gloat just a bit. Besides which, all in fun!
I remember her calling Boone’s death and Anna Lucia’s death beforehand too. Personally, I think it gives the site more street cred.
Can’t wait until season 4! Gonna be a long wait……
May 24th, 2007 at 3:54 pm
How bout nooo Scott. Just kidding, Dr.Evil there. All’s fair in lost and war I guess! But let the posters gloat too then. Double G shot me down like dynamite in a tent earlier this year. And my thought turned out to be legit. But all in fun as you say, don’t mean to rain on the parade. out til 2008
May 24th, 2007 at 4:06 pm
(Sung to “It’s My Party And I’ll Cry If I Want To” - if that’s the name)… It’s my site and I’ll gloat if I want to…
May 24th, 2007 at 4:08 pm
By the way… the comments today have been INCREDIBLE. Thanks to everyone for all of your ideas and interesting thoughts AND most importantly, for leaving them here for us to ponder.
May 24th, 2007 at 5:15 pm
yeah, I know I keep coming back here to comment, but what else am I gonna do until season 4? Anyone know exactly when it’s supposed to start? I’m pretty sure it’s the first part of February, but I could be wrong. It would suck if we had to wait over 8 months for another show. *still hoping Charlie’s not dead*………
May 24th, 2007 at 5:16 pm
Haha, I’m Foffman on one computer and Foffhead on my brother’s computer.
May 24th, 2007 at 5:26 pm
Charlie is dead. Dominic Monaghan has left the show. In his own words he was “…tired of feeling like a bridesmaid being used to fascilitate(sp?) other people’s storylines…”
Well, he sure had fans.
I’d LIKE to think that with enough outcry, he might come back.
*shrugs again*
These things were said in an interview with Dominic. I heard his words as I saw his face. I’m not so sure he was happy with the way things turned out either.
It can’t be Charlie in the casket, Naomi says there was already a memorial for “the dead rockstar,” new album and tour etcetera.
It’s not Michael in the casket. AND, I think that the Island was just using the image of Walt to motivate Locke in a way that Locke would understand.
May 24th, 2007 at 5:54 pm
Here’s an article I found. Will being doing more research and will post what I find, but a little fix in the meantime:
There has been confusion around the web as to when Lost Season 4 actual starts for those wondering it is season 4 starts January 2008.
It was announced that Lost will continue for a fourth, fifth and sixth year, concluding with the 117th produced episode of the series during the 2009-2010 season. These three final seasons will consist of 16 episodes each, running weekly in the spring- uninterrupted by repeats.
Although the annoucement says that beginning with the 2007-2008 television season, the final 48 episodes of Lost will be aired as three seasons with sixteen episodes each. Thus, Lost will conclude with its sixth season. These seasons Do not start until the last Wed in January 2008 and are to air uninterrupted from February to May.
May 24th, 2007 at 6:50 pm
Just some quick thoughts…… January 2008?! Are you kidding me?! That’s awful!
The coffin….. maybe it was just me, I have to rewatch that scene, but while I watched the episode I thought the coffin was kinda small. Not for a child, but definitely for a person much shorter than Jack. Ben is kinda short.. The article that Jack found out about the death from.. I thought I saw the word “residents” in the headline. Maybe a home for elderly people burned down, or a mental institution.. Ben could have been put in one after they left the island, nobody knew him off the island, so who would go to his funeral? For sure it was an incident in which more people were killed or injured, cuz why else would there be a newspaper article about it? Then again, we’re prolly supposed to think it was Ben.
It could be anyone, and what Kate could have meant was that she didn’t go to the funeral, because maybe they all made a promise not to see each other anymore. That’s why Jack and her are not in touch anymore.
“He” could be somebody in a home where Kate has to live. Once she leaves the island, the police are gonna get at her. Obviously she’s not in jail, but she might have to live somewhere similar just with more freedom, but she definitely can’t leave all the time and go where she wants to go.
Christian is dead.. when Jack tells his colleague to get his dad downstairs, that’s when he looks at him with that expression on his face that nobody can help him anymore, cuz he knows Jack’s dad has been dead for a while.
May 24th, 2007 at 7:58 pm
Sing it Gitsie! I will play nice next year. Or get my own site. Or start a diary. So on a positive note, my brother and I are such lost nerds that we drank Dharma beer last night… which was actually Coors Light with fake Dharma labels, but nevertheless, Dharma Beer! In your full recap I hope you have a pic of the newspaper clipping Jack was clinging to, if that’s even available. later all!
May 24th, 2007 at 8:12 pm
in the radio tower room did anyone else notice that the lightbulbs were those curlly energy efficent ones. kind of werid eh.
May 24th, 2007 at 9:23 pm
There are a few people that need to stay on the island. Don’t forget, if Rose goes home she dies of cancer and Locke will be paralyzed. I don’t see Ben or Danielle going by choice. Just throwing that out there. I agree that the flash foward threw me way off. I hope they don’t get off the island now. See ya next season.
May 24th, 2007 at 10:25 pm
I have been right on in my theories, for instance I knew Jack and Claire were brother and sister because they always focused on there blue eyes. And I thought that the girls in the underwater station were going to be the supposed dead pregnant women but they weren’t. I don’t want them to get rescued I want them back on the island. Jack is my favorite character and I was heart broken to see him drugged up and crazy. And Las Vegas must have ended, the Doc and Niaomi. Anyways back to crazy theories. How did Niami get that picture of Desmend if Penny was not on the boat? BERNARD IS A TOOL! Well talk to you all in January… GREAT SITE!!
May 24th, 2007 at 10:33 pm
Did anyone catch this? ….. Claire was sopose to be the first woman to give birth on the island … but, last night we learned that Danielle programmed the radio message 3 days before Alex was born.
May 24th, 2007 at 11:33 pm
Predictions are as much of the fun as the show. I Tivo’d? the part where Jack had the ob artical and was actually nervous that I could see who the obit was for. You think you want the answers, so long as they’re the answers you want. Unless the writers make them BETTER! That is why we care enough to send our thoughts, predictions, comments, musings. The show(EXPERIENCE) is worth it! Here are mine for what they’re worth.
1. It is Juliette in the casket. ( Jack was not family or friend, if you think about it)This would explain Jack’s state of mind after finding out about it. In the end, he chose Kate, she chose Saywer and they were all left with the fate of unrequited love.
2. Ben is right about the people on the boat. ( rescue is far away indeed)
3. Echo, Charlie, Tom and the rest of our favorites will continue(in future episodes) to live another day!
May 25th, 2007 at 12:30 am
All of our favorites will live another day? Oh boy, oh boy! I can’t wait for Nikki and Paulo to break through the sand and prove that they’re still alive! (said with just a hint of sarcasm)
May 25th, 2007 at 7:36 am
The deaths of our favourite characters is one of the things that makes us (or at least me) like this show so much. So yes, Charlie is dead and no, Eko, Tom, Boone or whoever won’t be back. Sad, but just the fact that we all have troubles dealing with it shows the influence Lost has on us.
My first comment here, but I was just wondering if I was the only one noticing the head of surgery to be the same guy that helped Locke after he lost control of his legs?
Great site by the way.
May 25th, 2007 at 11:40 am
Does anyone know what temple the others were heading to? Had that been mentioned before?? When Richard and Ben were talking Richard said something about the other’s not wanting to leave home (not sure of exact quote)….. Ben really thought they all were in danger and were moving them??
Some of the episodes in Season 3 seemed far out and not important, but the episode that Hurley finds the van has twice since been significant (we know the body was Ben’s dad’s and Hurley saved them all with the van). Also……I bet Kate is pregnant. They did the episode where she met Sawyer’s ex and worked with her…….maybe that is not enough reason to think she is pregnant, but it could be foreshadowing.
May 25th, 2007 at 11:53 am
When they first came across Naomi I think she mumbled information about Mikhail. Didn’t she say something in Russian? So, (jumping to conclusions) I think she knew information on everybody on the island in the same way Ben seems to know all the intimate details of peoples lives.
I wonder, too, why they took all that time to establish Jack and Claire are halflings…I mean half siblings.
I didn’t see Eko in front of the funeral home. A cop car passes by twice though. The phone number he calls I think was 310-5550. I guess it was Kate’s number. I wonder how many calls that number is going to get because of this.
I liked the idea of the flash forwards being via Desmond.
Also there was a mention of aliens. It sounded like an inside joke…..
May 25th, 2007 at 11:53 am
Troels - Locke’s therapist / Jack’s doctor. Interesting. Didn’t catch that, have to re-watch. Not questioning the greatness of the episode, but who or what exactly was the snake in the mailbox? Naomi? Or was it the flash forward itself? I found Naomi’s character pretty bland. Her character is relevant, but not the performance….
Lllegrl - Not sure about the Temple. Anything to do with the four-toed statue maybe? I think we are to imply Kate is pregant for a bunch of reason, Sawyer wanting to “protect” her, etc. But they haven’t confirmed it yet.
Waiting on the full recap & pics! I try hard not to do any work at work on Fridays!

hi guys, just throwing some info out there for people to chew on.
What was the sickness that danielle’s crew members got? Remember danielle had to kill them cause they were having phyco things happen. also on that thought, her boat crashed onto the island by accident, how come no other boats have done that?
The phychic told claire that her baby was “special”, so maybe it runs in the family, ie uncle jack?
it cant be a girl in the casket because enhanced views of the bit of paper talk about a man hanging himself
must say, the producers have done a brillent job with the finale, giving us plenty to talk about until season 4

Addendum to lil joey’s message:
We have seen at least 3 other boats or ships. The small fishing vessel with wich Ben’s people take Walt. Desmond’s sailboat and of course the slaver ship The Black Rock.
Two of those were shipwrecks. Possibly the small fishing vessel might have been as well but that would be more speculation.

What ever happened to walt? After his episode to turn to save his own butt, Is it possible that he is on the ship?? With this show, it has many twists that you don’t see comming.
